Conga Contracts Release Notes v8.1.3 - February 17, 2018

Enhancements

  • CON-9838 - Five Languages Added to Translations.  Users can now translate program screens into five additional languages: Traditional Chinese, Russian, Polish, Romanian, and Turkish.
  • CON-10026 - Time-Out Added to True-Up Sessions.  As a security measure, when a user begins a true-up session and no activity is detected for 30 minutes, the session will time-out.
    • In a true-up session, a user is prompted to update a field in a Contract/Company Profile screen, and/or an additional form, with the information in a final contract document.
  • CON-10203 - Updated Default for Elastic Search.  The default selection in the elastic Search list in the Navigation Toolbar has been changed from Company to All to expand the returned results without having to change the selection in the list.

Issues Resolved

  • CON-9709 - Flow Step Assignee Can Be Archived.  When an Administrator attempts to archive a user who is assigned to a flow step in a Contract, Company, or Project Flow Template, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they are assigned to a flow step in a template. Previously, the user could be archived without being replaced by another user.
  • CON-9742 - User Cannot be Replaced if Replacement User is Assigned to Same Flow Step.  An error message no longer displays when an Administrator replaces a user with another user who is already assigned to the same flow step as the user being replaced.
  • CON-9745 - Responsible Person in Profile Rule Can Be Archived. When an Administrator attempts to archive a user who is named in a Profile Rule that assigns them to a responsibility in a Contract Profile, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they hold a responsibility for a specific contract.  Previously, the user could be archived without being replaced by another user.
  • CON-9747 - Sole Member of Workflow Team Can Be Archived.  When an Administrator attempts to archive a user who is the only member of a workflow team, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they are a member of a specific workflow team.  Previously, the user could be archived if all workflows assigned to his/her team were completed.  However, archiving the user did not remove them from the workflow team, which allowed the archived user to be assigned to steps when the team was selected for a new workflow.
  • CON-9748 - Task List Step Owner Can Be Archived.  When an Administrator attempts to archive a user who is the owner of a step in a task list, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they are assigned to a task list step.  Previously, the user could be archived without being replaced by another user.
  • CON-9750 - User for Scheduled Report Can Be Archived.  When an Administrator attempts to archive a user who is a recipient of a scheduled report, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they receive a scheduled report.  Previously, the user could be archived without being replaced by another user.
  • CON-9751 - Event Owner Can Be Archived.  When an Administrator attempts to archive a user who is the owner of an open company or contract event, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they are responsible for a specific event.  Previously, the user could be archived without being replaced by another user. However, if the event is closed, the message does not display and the user can be archived.
  • CON-9752 - User Named in Event Notification List Can Be Archived.  When an Administrator attempts to archive a user  who is included in the notification list for an event, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they are tied to the event.  Previously, the user could be archived without being replaced by another user.
  • CON-9754 - User with Responsibility for Contract Expiration Event Can Be Archived.  When an Administrator attempts to archive a user who is the owner of an event for a contract's expiration date, or is named as a recipient in the Notification or Reminder list for the event, a message now displays stating the user cannot be archived because they are tied to a specific event.  Previously, the user could be archived without being replaced by another user. 
  • CON-10082 - Archived Users Available as Replacement Users.  When an Administrator replaces a user with another user, archived users no longer appear in the list of available replacements. 
  • CON-10087 - True-Up Displays Error Message for Company/Contract Number Updates.  During the True-Up process, an error message now displays if the number assigned to a Company and/or Contract Profile cannot be updated in accordance with the information in a document stored in the Profile when the user selects Document Value in the prompt.
    • This error message displays only when the contract and/or company numbering options are locked in the System Settings screen.
  • CON-10088 - True-Up Does Not Update Contract Term Type.  The Term Type field in the Contract Profile screen is now updated in accordance with the information in a document stored in the Profile when the user selects Document Value in the prompt during the True-Up process.
