Scorecards is a feature that allows you to poll users on the performance of a contract, company, or project. Administrators create and link scorecards to specific Contract, Company, and Project profiles so that whenever you open a profile that is linked to a scorecard, and a scorecard has not yet been assigned, you can assign the scorecard to be completed by anyone listed in the Address Book. You can assign the scorecard to yourself, other users, or to an entire distribution list, and then choose the date on which you want to make the scorecard available. On that date, the Novatus system sends out an email message to each user, notifying him/her that they have been selected to complete the contract, company, or project scorecard.
Once you have selected and assigned a scorecard for completion, the Assign Scorecard dialogue box does not automatically display when you open a profile. However, if there is more than one scorecard linked to the profile, you can click on the Scorecards link, and select the Add Scorecard button in the browse screen to display the dialogue box, which allows you to select another scorecard for completion.
The current scorecard rating for a Contract, Company, or Project profile is displayed numerically in a color-coded score box (e.g., ) located in the upper right corner of the profile header. This rating is calculated by the Novatus system and reflects the average of all the scorecard values listed in the Scorecards browse screen. Score boxes are color-coded, depending on the average rating of all scorecards completed: 81-100 = green, 61-80 = yellow, 41-60 = orange, and 0-40 = red.
