CSV Settings

This page applies to: Analytics Add-on module

When you export an Analytics Report to a CSV format, no charts are included in the exported report. However, you have some control over the display of the report by turning settings on and off.

Export icon

From the Output view of the report, click on the icon to display the Export Report window.

Export to CSV option

Click to display the export settings for the CSV version of the report.

Escape Quotes option

  • If you want to disable escape quotes, leave the default option disabled, as indicated by the icon. Any text or value that is encased in quotes in a report field is displayed without the quotes.
  • If you want to enable escape quotes, activate the default option by clicking on the inactive icon, which now displays as an enabled icon. Any text or value that is encased in quotes in a report field is displayed with the quotes.

Quote Commas option

  • If you want to disable quote commas, leave the default option disabled, as indicated by the icon. Any text or value that includes a comma in a report field is displayed without the comma.
  • If you want to enable quote commas, activate the default option by clicking on the inactive icon, which now displays as an enabled icon. Any text or value that includes a comma in a report field is displayed with the comma.

Include Headings option

  • If you want to exclude report headings in the exported report, leave the default option disabled, as indicated by the icon.
  • If you want to include report headings in the exported report, activate the default option by clicking on the disabled icon, which now displays as an enabled icon.

Character Set list

If you want to change the default selection from UTF-8, which is the character set that is compatible with Microsoft Excel and displays the report in an Excel spreadsheet, make another selection in the list.

Export button

Click to launch Microsoft Excel and display the report.

  If you made a different selection in the Character Set list, another program will launch and display the report.
