Column and Row Headings

Report Formatting icon

From the Data view, click on the image226.png icon to display the Report Formatting window.

Column & Row Headings category

Click the expand icon image232.png to display the formatting options for the column and row headings in a report.

Style options

If you want to change the default style from 14-point white, centered Arial text, click on Custom to display fields that will allow you to change the font type, size, alignment, and color of the headings in the report.

Wrap Text option

If you want to change the default display of headings from word-wrap, click on the image228.png icon to disable this option. The report will truncate a heading when its name exceeds the capacity of a field.

Background Color option

If you want to change the background color of the column and row headings, click on the image233.png icon to display a color palette that allows you to select a new background color for headings.

Header Height option

If you want to change the default height of headers, enter a value (in pixels) in the blank field.

Header Padding option

If you want to change the spacing between the header text and the borders for each header in the report, update the values in the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom fields. Spacing is defined in pixels.

Close & Apply icon

Click on the image186.png icon to close the window and apply the formatting to the report columns and rows.
