Report Formatting icon

From the Data view, click on the image226.png icon to display the Report Formatting window.

Click the expand icon image227.png to display the formatting options for report data.

Style options

If you want to change the default style from 12-point black Arial text, click on Custom to display fields that will allow you to change the font type, size, and color of the data in the report.

Wrap Text option

If you want to change the default display of text from word-wrap, click on the image228.png icon to disable this option. The report will truncate text when it exceeds the capacity of a field.

Row Shading option

If you want to change the default, as determined by the Administration settings, select:

  • None to make all the rows the same color (white). 
  • Alternating to display an Alternate Row Color option.

Alternate Row Color option

Click on the image229.png icon to display a color palette that allows you to select the color that will be applied to every second row in the report.

Row Highlight option

If you want to select a color that highlights a row in a report when a user hovers over the row with their mouse, click on Custom to display a Row Highlight Color option.

Click on the image230.png icon to display a color palette that allows you to select the color that will be applied to a report row when a user hovers over the row with their mouse.

Header lock option

If you do not want the report headers to remain static as a user scrolls vertically through the report, click on the image228.png icon to disable this option. This is used for reports created using the Column format.

Column lock option

If you do not want the first column of the report to remain static as a user scrolls horizontally through the report, click on the image228.png icon to disable this option. This is used for reports created using the Row format.

Cell Height option

If you want to change the default height of report rows, enter a value (in pixels) in the blank field.

Cell Padding option

If you want to change the spacing between the text and the borders for each data field in the report, update the values in the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom fields. Spacing is defined in pixels.

Cell Spacing option

If you want to change the spacing between the individual data fields in the report, update the values in the Horizontal and Vertical fields. Spacing is defined in pixels.

Close & Apply icon

Click on the image186.png icon to close the window and apply the formatting to the report data.
