You can move a document from one Contract Profile to another, and from one Company Profile to another using the Move Document Wizard. You can also move a document from a Contract to a Company Profile, and vice versa, which saves you the dual tasks of deleting a document from one profile, and uploading it to another profile. The Move Document Wizard is also available in a Project Profile, and is used to move documents among Contract and Company Profiles.
Although the Contract Profile is used in the screen shot below, the same steps also apply to previewing documents in a Company Profile and Project Profile.
1. Open the Document Profile for the company, contract, or project document you want to move.
- To move an earlier version of a document, click on its document record in the Revisions section of the screen to make the revision active.
2. In the Document Profile screen, click Advanced in the toolbar, and select Move Document.
If the Advanced button is not present, click in the toolbar to display additional action buttons.
3. In the Move Document Wizard, provide the requested information to move the document to the correct Contract or Company Profile.
