Project Flows

The Flows feature is an automated version of the Workflows feature, which uses both stages and steps to delineate the processes or procedures that a project must go through. In addition, the stages and steps in the flow automatically display at the top of the Project Profile, and are "grayed out" as they are completed, so that you always know what action needs to be taken to move the flow to the next step or stage. Like workflows, your Administrators create flows and then link them to the appropriate Project Profiles. Therefore, a flow may or may not display in a Project Profile screen. A flow is like to a road map you must follow to accomplish the tasks your Administrators want you to accomplish for a project in Novatus.

Although the linked tasks below were written for a contract flow, the steps in each task also apply to a project flow.
