Scorecards is a feature that allows you to rate a contract's performance and/or value in several areas. Your Administrators create and link scorecards to specific Contract Profiles so that whenever you open a profile that is linked to a scorecard, and a scorecard has not yet been assigned, an Assign Scorecard dialogue box automatically displays. The dialogue box prompts you to select from a list of available scorecards and then select the users you want to complete the scorecard using the Address Book. You can assign the scorecard to yourself, as well as other users or a distribution list, and also choose the date on which you want to make the scorecard available to the selected users. On that date, the Novatus system sends out an email message to each user, notifying him/her that they have been selected to complete the contract scorecard.
Once you have selected and assigned a scorecard for completion, the Assign Scorecard dialogue box does not automatically display when you open a profile. However, if there is more than one scorecard linked to the profile, you can click on the Scorecards link, and select the Add Scorecard button in the browse screen to display the dialogue box, which allows you to select another scorecard for completion.
The current scorecard rating for a contract is displayed numerically in a color-coded score box (e.g., ) located in the upper right corner of the Contract Profile header. This rating is calculated by the Novatus system and reflects the average of all the scorecard values listed in the Scorecards browse screen. Score boxes are color-coded, depending on the average rating of all scorecards completed: 81-100 = green, 61-80 = yellow, 41-60 = orange, and 0-40 = red.
