Contract Family Link

The Contract Family link is used to display the Contract Family browse screen showing the hierarchical relationship between the selected contract and other contracts in the system.

To access the Contract Family browse screen, open a Contract Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

Click to display the hierarchical relationship of this contract to other contracts. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of contracts in the contract's family.

Note: You can link to any of the contracts in the family by clicking on the contract record.


Contract family hierarchy

View the hierarchical relationships between root (top-level) documents like Master or Individual contracts to incorporated (lower-level) documents like Schedules, Service Agreements, Addenda, and Amendments. The default setting is to display all contracts, but you can click on the Collapse icon to if you want to view only the top-level contracts.

Note: The Contract Profile that you are currently viewing is displayed in dark red text in the hierarchy.


Status multi-select list

If you want to filter the list of contracts by status, make one or more selections in the list.


Agreement multi-select list

If you want to filter the list of contracts by agreement type, make one or more selections in the list.


Sort option

If you want to change the sort order of the information in a column, click (toggle) on the column heading.


Column Display option

To customize the display of information in a screen, click on the arrow icon to the right of any column to display the Sort/Column menu, and select Columns to display a list of available fields. Select the fields you want displayed in the screen by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.


Reorder and Resize Columns

  • To resize a column, mouse over the right or left border of the header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.
