A single task can be added to a Company Profile and be assigned to a program user for completion. Similarly, a Task List can be added to a profile to identify the steps that must be followed to accomplish a company-related process or procedure. For example, a Task List can be created to standardize the process for renewing company certifications.
Workflows are enhanced Task Lists, which allow you to send messages from a step in the workflow. In addition, a workflow step can require one or more approvals before activating the next step. Therefore, it is recommended that you consider both Workflows and Task Lists and determine which option better suits your needs.
