Messaging Link

The Messaging link is used to display a Messaging window, which stores the messages that have been sent from the Company Profile, as well as the responses to the messages.

To access the Messaging window, open a Company Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

  The tasks for which you have some measure of responsibility can be viewed from your Recent Messages portlet in the Dashboard.

Messaging link

Click to display a Messaging window. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of messages stored in the profile.

Note: If there is a required additional form that has not been completed, the Additional Forms screen automatically displays. Otherwise, the Contracts screen displays.

Message record

Locate the message you want to view or reply to, and click on it to display the body of the message. The most recent message is displayed at the top of the screen, and the Content column displays the body of the email message to provide an at-a-glance view of the message.

Note: You may have to use the Expand icon to locate the message you want to view since messages are displayed in a hierarchy by subject with the original thread at the top level, and responses to the thread at an indented (lower) level.

Message body

View the content of the message, including any threads.

Reply button

Click to send a reply to the person who sent the email message.

Reply All button

Click to send a reply to the person who sent the email message, along with those who have been copied on the message.

Delete Thread button

Click to delete the message thread.

New Thread button

Click to send a new email message.

Close window

Click the icon to close the Messaging window.
