Events Link

The Events link is used to display the Events browse screen, which stores all the events that have been added for the company.

To access the Events browse screen, open a Company Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

  The events for which you have some measure of responsibility are viewed from My Place menu or the Upcoming Events portlet your in your Dashboard.


Events link

Click to display the Events browse screen. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of events contained in the profile.


Event records

View the list of events associated with the company. Events are numbered by the Novatus system.

Note: To view additional information for an event, click on an event record to display its Event Profile. From the profile, you can edit information for the event, complete the event, or delete it. If the event is part of a series, you can close the event series, as well as view the completion history for the series.

Click if you want to create a company event.

Note: When an event is created and a user is designated as an event owner, the Novatus system automatically sends the event owner periodic email messages regarding their upcoming event, as well as people who subscribe to the event.


Sort option

If you want to change the sort order of the data in a column, click on the column heading to toggle the sort order.


Column Display option

To customize the display of information in a screen, click on the arrow icon to the right of any column to display the Sort/Column menu, and select Columns to display a list of available fields. Select the fields you want displayed in the screen by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.


Reorder and Resize Columns

  • To resize a column, mouse over the right or left border of the header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.
