Locations Link

The Locations link in a Company Profile is used to display the Locations browse screen, which stores the physical addresses for a company.

To access the Locations browse screen, open a Company Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

Click to display a list of locations for the company. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of locations that have been recorded for the company.


Location record

Click on a location record to display a Location Profile with additional information for that location. From the profile, you can add, edit, copy, and delete a company location.


History icon

Click on the icon if you want to track a history the changes made to a location.


Copy to Clipboard icon

Click the icon if you want to copy the location address to another program or application. The Copy to clipboard window displays.

Simultaneously hold down the Ctrl and C keys on your keyboard to copy the highlighted address. To copy only a portion of the address, click anywhere inside the window to remove the highlighting, and then use your mouse to highlight the line item(s) you want to copy.


Sort option

If you want to change the sort order of the data in a column, click on the column heading to toggle the sort order.


Column Display option

To customize the display of information in a screen, click on the arrow icon to the right of any column to display the Sort/Column menu, and select Columns to display a list of available fields. Select the fields you want displayed in the browse screen by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.

Note: The Actions field must be selected or the History icon and the Copy to Clipboard icon will not be displayed.


Reorder and Resize options

  • To resize a column, mouse over the right or left border of the header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.


Add Location button

Click to display a screen that will allow you to add a new location for the company or one of its contracts.
