Additional Names Link

The Additional Names link in the Company Profile is used to display the Additional Names browse screen, which shows whether a company has an AKA (also known as), DBA (doing business as), or FKA (formerly known as) name.

To access the Additional Names browse screen, open a Company Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

Additional Names link

Click to display the Additional Names browse screen. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of additional names for the company.

Additional Name records

View the additional names by which the company is known, as well as any other names the company uses to conduct business (DBA) and any former names of the company (FKA).

Note: If you want to view more information for an additional name, click on an additional name record to display the Additional Name Profile. From the profile screen, you can edit the information for an additional name, or delete it.

Add Name button

Click to display a screen that will allow you to add an additional name for the company.

Sort option

If you want to change the sort order of the data in a column, click on the column heading to toggle the sort order.

Column Display option

If you want to change the fields that are displayed, click on the arrow icon to the right of any column to display the Sort/Column menu. Click on Columns to display a list of available fields, and then select the fields you want displayed by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.

Reorder and Resize Columns

  • If you want to resize a column to accommodate the information in that column, mouse over the right or left border of the column header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • If you want to reorder the columns of information, click on a column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.
