Viewing Company People

The people associated with a company are viewed from the Company Profile using the People browse screen.

A

People link

Click on the link to display the People browse screen. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of people that have been added to the profile.

Person record

Click on person’s record to display their Person Profile with additional information for that person.

Note: From the profile, you can add a person, edit a person’s information, and delete the person.

Search option

If there are several people listed, and you want to quickly locate a person, enter the first few letters of their first or last name in the Search field and click on the icon. Click on the icon to clear the search results.

Note: If you only know part of the person's name or other identifier, use a leading and/or trailing wild card (denoted by an asterisk "*"). For example, if you know the person works at Novatus, and therefore has a Novatus email address, you could enter *nov* in the Search field.

Important: Use the Search filter to limit the fields that are searched by clicking on the button to display a list of searchable fields. Select only the check box(es) for the field(s) you want to search to guarantee accurate results.

History icon

Click on the icon to display a screen that shows a history of the changes made to the person's profile.

Add Person button

Click to display a screen that will allow you to add a person to the Company Profile.

Sort options

Click on any column heading to select it, and then click on the arrow icon to display the Sort/Column menu. Click on Sort Ascending (A-Z and 0-9) or Sort Descending (Z-A and 9-0) to sort the data in that column.

Note: You can also quickly sort the data in a column in ascending or descending order by clicking (toggling) on the column heading.

Column Display option

Click on the arrow icon to the right of any column to display the Sort/Column menu, and select Columns to display a list of available fields. Select the fields you want displayed in the browse screen by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.

Reorder and Resize Columns
  • To resize a column, mouse over the right or left border of the header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.

 Show Items list

Click on the list arrow icon if you want to change the number of records that display on each screen. The default is 25 records per screen, but you change the default to 5, 10, 50, or 100.
