Contracts Link

The Contracts link in a Company Profile displays a Contracts browse screen that allows you to view all of the company’s contracts, in both a linear list and as a hierarchy. From the Contracts browse screen, you can access the Contract Profile for any contract.

To access the Contracts browse screen, open a Company Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

Contracts link

Click to display the Contracts browse screen. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of contracts contained in the profile.

Contract records

View a summarized list of the company's contracts.

Note: If you want to view additional information for the contract, simply click on a contract record to display its  From the Contract Profile, you can perform a multitude of contract-related operations and link to several program functions.

Contract Status multi-select list

Make one or more selections in the list if you want to filter the contracts that display by their status. The default is All statuses.

Note: To select more than one contract status, click on the additional statuses. To deselect a selected status, simply click on it.

Search option

To quickly locate a contract, type the first few letters of the document name or other identifier in the Search field, and click the icon. To clear the filter, click on the icon.

Note: If you only know part of the contract name or other identifier, use a leading and/or trailing wild card (denoted by an asterisk "*"). For example, if you wanted to search for a contract and you know the contract's number included the numbers "478," you would enter *478* in the Search field.

Important: Use the Search filter to limit the fields that are searched by clicking on the button to display a list of searchable fields. Select only the check box(es) for the field(s) you want to search to guarantee accurate results.

Download Document icon

If the icon is present, click on it to display a drop-down menu showing a list of the documents that have been uploaded to the Contract Profile. To view or download a copy of any document in the list, click on the document to select it.

Multi-Party icon

If the icon is present, the contract is a multi-party agreement, which means there are more than two companies, organizations, or individuals that are legally bound by the contract.

Note: To view the additional parties for the contract, click on the contract record to display the Contract Profile, and click on the Additional Parties expand icon at the top of the screen to display the additional parties to the contract.

Contract records display

  • If you want to change the fields that are displayed, click on the arrow icon to the right of any column to display the Sort/Column menu. Click on Columns to display a list of available fields, and then select the fields you want displayed by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.
  • If you want to change the sort order of the data in a column, click on a column heading to toggle the sort order.
  • If you want to resize a column to accommodate the information in that column, mouse over the right or left border of the column header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • If you want to reorder the columns of information, click on a column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.

Export to Excel button

Click to export all the data in the browse screen to an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet will launch the Excel program and display the information in a new file, which you can save and reformat.

Contract Tree view

Click if you to display the contracts in a tree structure, with parent contracts at the top of the hierarchy.

Contract hierarchy

View the root (e.g., Master and Individual) contracts, which are shown as top-level folders, and their incorporated (e.g., Amendment, Schedule) contracts, which are shown as sub-folders.

Expand and Collapse icons

Click on the icon to collapse the contract hierarchy, and click on the on the icon to expand the hierarchy.

Status multi-select list

Make one or more selections in the list if you want to filter the contracts that display by their status. The default is All statuses.

Note: To select more than one contract status, click on the additional statuses. To deselect a selected status, simply click on it.

Agreement Type multi-select list

Make one or more selections in the list if you want to filter the contracts that display by their agreement type. The default is All agreement types.

Note: To select more than one agreement type, click on the additional types. To deselect a selected agreement type, simply click on it.

N

New Contract button

Click to display a screen that will allow you to add a new root or incorporated contract.
