Viewing My Contract Requests

The My Requests browse screen contains a list of the contract requests you have made, along with their statuses. The information in this browse screen can be filtered in several ways so that you can quickly access your contract requests and view their progress.

Navigation Toolbar

Click on My Place to display the menu, and then click on Requests to display your My Requests browse screen.

Note: If the Requests link is not present, you do not have permissions to use this feature.

Request records

View the list of contract requests that you have made. You can filter the requests by making a selection in one or more of the following lists: Created Within, Request Status, and Request Type. You can also locate a specific request using the Search option. From this screen, you can also edit a contract request, resubmit a contract request, and delete a contract request.

Created Within list

If you want to change the default time frame (Past 30 Days) for the requests that are displayed, make another selection in the list. The options are All Time, Past Year, Past 90 Days, and Past Week.

Request Status list

If you want to change the default status (All) for the requests that are displayed, select one or more options in the list. The options are Submitted, Processing, Declined, Accepted, and Draft.

Note: To select more than one option, simply click on an additional option. To deselect an option, click on the selected option.

Request Type list

If you want to change the types of contract requests that are displayed, select one or more options in the list. The types of contract requests listed are created by your Administrator(s).

Search option

If you want to quickly locate a specific contract request, type the first few letters of the request name in the Search field, and click the icon. To clear the filter, click on the icon.

Note: If you only know part of the request name or other identifier, use a leading and/or trailing wild card (denoted by an asterisk "*"). For example, to locate a request for a company whose name contains the word "Data," enter *Data* in the Search field.

Important: Use the Search Filter to limit the fields that are searched by clicking on the button to display a list of searchable fields. Select only the check box(es) for the field(s) you want to search to guarantee accurate results.

Request records display

  • If you want to change the fields that are displayed, click on the arrow icon to the right of any column to display the Sort/Column menu. Click on Columns to display a list of available fields, and then select the fields you want displayed by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.
  • If you want the records sorted by the data in a particular column, click on the arrow icon to the right of the column to display the Sort/Column menu, and then select Sort Ascending (A-Z or 0-9) or Sort Descending (Z-A or 9-0). You can also click on a column heading to toggle the sort order of the data in the column.
  • If you want to resize a column to accommodate the information in that column, mouse over the right or left border of the column header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • If you want to reorder the columns of information, click on a column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.

Processing icon

Click on the icon to display a screen that will allow you to edit your request and/or submit your contract request. This icon only appears if a contract request has a "Draft" status.

Cancel Submission icon

Click on the icon if you want to cancel your contract request. Once the approval process has begun, this icon will not be present and you will not be able to cancel your request.

Edit Request icon

Click on the icon to edit a submitted request.

Note: This icon is present when a contract request that you submitted is declined by an approver, but you are allowed to resubmit the request after making updates. View the notes provided by the approver, explaining why your contract request was denied, then make the suggested updates, and re-submit your contract request.

Go To Contract icon

Click on the icon to display the Contract Profile for the contract you requested. This icon is present if your contract request has been approved or you created a request for a Self Service contract.

Note: When you view the Contract Profile, a flow may display at the top of the Profile. A flow contains the individual steps that must be completed to move your contract request through the stages needed to generate a fully executed and legal document.

Delete Request icon

Click on the icon if you want to delete a contract request that you have submitted.

New Request button

Click if you want to create a new contract request.
