Locating a Contract Request

A contract request is created from your My Requests browse screen, which is accessed from your My Place menu. The information in this browse screen can be filtered in several ways so that you can quickly locate a particular request.  You can also locate a request from the My Requests portlet in your Dashboard.

My Requests PortletEdit section

1. In the Dashboard, locate (or add) the My Requests portlet. 

2.  In the portlet, locate the request using the available options:

  • Search for a request by entering the company name or the request type name into the Search field and pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard.
  • Filter requests by status using the Request Status multi-select list.
  • Scroll through the list.

3.  (Optional) Manage the display of information in the portlet:

  • Update the columns that display using the Sort/Column menu.
  • Reorder and resize the columns to manage the display of information in the browse screen.
  • Sort the data in a column by clicking (toggling) on a column heading.

My Place Menu

1.  Click on MyPlace in the Navigation Toolbar.

2.  In the My Place menu, click the Requests link.

3.  In the My Requests screen, locate the request using the available options:

  • Search for a request by entering the company name or the request type name into the Search field and pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard.
  • Filter requests by the timeframe in which the request was created using the Created within list.
  • Filter requests by status using the Request Status multi-select list.
  • Filter requests by the template used to create the request in the Request Type list.
  • Scroll through the list.

4.  (Optional) Manage the display of information in the screen:

  • Update the columns that display using the Sort/Column menu.
  • Reorder and resize the columns to manage the display of information in the browse screen.
  • Sort the data in a column by clicking (toggling) on a column heading.

The icons for a contract request are used to perform additional tasks or view additional information for the request:

  •   - Display a screen that allows you to edit the contract request and/or submit the request. This icon only appears if a contract request has a Draft status.
  •    - Cancel submission of the contract request.  However, once the approval process has begun, this icon will not be present.
  •    - Edit a submitted request.
    • This icon is present when your contract request has been declined, but you are allowed to resubmit the request after making updates. View the notes provided by the approver, make the suggested updates, and re-submit your contract request.
  •    - Jump to the Contract Profile for an approved contract request, or a Self-Service request.

When you view the Contract Profile, a flow may display at the top of the Profile. A flow contains the individual steps that must be completed to move your contract request through the stages needed to generate a fully executed and legal document.

  •  Icon Copy to Clipboard.png  -  Make a copy of the contract request.
  •   -  Delete a submitted contract request.
