Novatus includes a secure module known as the Portal, which is an online forum that your customers and clients can access to share information, exchange documents, negotiate contracts, and sign documents using electronic signatures. The Portal is also used to register the suppliers (or vendors) who want to do business with your company. The URL for the Portal is either accessed from a link in an email message, or a link to the Portal is provided to a supplier or vendor by an Administrator.
The three Novatus modules that use the Portal are:
- Document Packages - external users participate as members of the document package team in negotiating a contract.
- eSignature Process - external participants sign documents electronically
- Supplier Registrations - suppliers and vendors provide information on their company to Novatus users, who approve or decline the registrations.
