A user with any Administrator permission can access the Event Alert Templates feature. Event Alert Templates are used to standardize the email messages (event alerts) that are sent from Novatus Contracts, notifying all interested parties of upcoming events for the contracts and companies stored in the program, such as contract expiration and renewal dates. Administrators who create these templates provide the standard message that will be used in the body of the email message, as well as the subject line for the message. Event alert templates can also define the message sent in reminder email messages, which are automatically sent from Novatus if no action is taken for the event.
Users who create event alerts and use a template that has been created by an Administrator only have to supply the relevant date(s) and the recipient list for the upcoming event.
