Logging into the Novatus Portal

Suppliers who express an interest in doing business with your company must first register via the Novatus Portal, and then complete the supplier registration process. The information provided during the registration process is used by your organization to determine whether or not you want the company to become one of your suppliers/vendors. A supplier/vendor gains access to the Portal using a URL, which is provided by an Administrator of Novatus Contracts who creates the form that is used in the supplier registration process. The Administrator can either send an email message to the supplier/vendor that contains a link to the URL, or the Administrator can post the URL in a secure location on your organization's website.

Logging into the Portal as a Registered User

If the supplier has registered as a Portal user, they already have a user name and a password and can begin the supplier registration process. If they have not registered as a Portal user, they must set up a Portal User Profile before beginning the supplier registration process.

"I have an account" radio button

This option is automatically selected by default.

Email Address field

Enter your email address for the Portal (this is usually the email address that contained the Portal Invitation).

Password field

Enter your Portal password.

Note: If you do not remember your password, click the Forgot Password button. You will receive a system email to assist you in logging into the Portal.

Login button

Click to login to the Portal.

Setting Up a Portal User Profile

If a supplier has not registered as a Novatus Portal user, they must do so before gaining access to the Portal.

Select to register as a Portal user. The screen expands with required fields that you must populate.

First name and Last Name fields

Enter your first name and last name into the appropriate field.

Company Name field

Enter the name of your company.

Email Address and Email Address Confirm fields

  • Enter your email address for the Portal. It is recommended that you use the email address that the Portal Invitation was sent to.
  • Retype your email address to confirm the address.

Password and Confirm Password fields

  • Enter your password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one uppercase character (A-Z) and one lowercase character (a-z). Passwords must also contain one number (0-9) OR one symbol [!@#$%^&*()].
  • Retype your password to confirm the password.

Password Reset Questions list

Select a question from the list that will be easy for you to provide (and remember) the answer.

Password Reset Answer field

Enter the answer to the question selected in the Password Reset Question list.

Send Check-in Notifications check box

Uncheck if you do NOT want to receive an email when a document is checked out by a supplier.

Send Check-out Notifications check box

Uncheck if you do NOT want to receive an email when a document is checked back in by a supplier.

Send Document Complete Notifications check box

Uncheck if you do NOT want to receive an email when a supplier submits a registration.

Click to register as a Portal user.
