Adding and Moving Forms for a Contract Request Type

If a contract request type contains more than one type of document, such as a standalone Master contract and a supporting Schedule, the Bundle feature allows you to add an additional form to the contract request type template so that information for the supporting document can also be captured when a user makes a contract request.  The order in which forms display in a request type template can be changed so that when a user makes a contract request using the template, the forms they are required to complete will display in the desired sequence.

Adding a Bundle Form

1.  Locate the request type bundle, and click the image388.png icon to the left of the Bundle Configuration tab.

2.  When the screen refreshes:

3.  (Optional) Add restrictions to the request form.

4. (Optional) Link an existing additional form to the request form.

5.  (Optional) Write a profile rule to control the display of fields, forms, and additional forms when a user makes a contract request using the template.

6. (Optional) Designate the request type template as Self-Service.

7.  Click the Bundle Configuration tab.

8.  Click Save.

Moving a Bundle Form

1.  Locate the request type bundle, and display its Request Type Bundle Edit screen.

2.  Locate the form you want to move.  Forms in the bundle display as tabs to the right of the Bundle Configuration tab.

3.  Click on the form, and then drag-and-drop it to the right (or left) to change its location in the bundle.

4.  Click the Bundle Configuration tab.

5.  Click Save.

Other tasks related to a contract request type template are adding restrictions to control when the template is available to a user making a contract request, linking the template to an existing additional form to capture additional information, and writing a profile rule to control the display of fields, request forms, and additional forms when a user makes a contract request using the template.  For contract requests that do not need approval, you can designate the request type template as Self-Service.
