Viewing Dynamic Forms and Additional Fields

Dynamic forms are viewed and managed from the Dynamic Form Admin Browse screen. The screen is subdivided into four Form Type categories:  Additional Fields, Company, Contract, Project.

  • The Additional Fields category houses the fields that Administrators have added to the default Company, Contract, and Project Profiles. Users access the Administrator-defined fields for a profile by displaying the Additional Fields section in a Company, Contract, or Project Profile.
  • The Company, Contract, and Project categories contain a list of the forms that Administrators have created and linked to specific groups/types of companies, contracts, and projects. Users access the Administrator-defined forms that are linked to a profile by clicking on the Additional Forms link in a Company, Contract, or Project Profile.

Navigation Toolbar

Click on Admin to display the menu, and select Dynamic Forms to display the Dynamic Form Admin Browse screen.

Note: If the Dynamic Forms link is not in your Admin menu, you do not have the permissions to use this feature.

Company Additional Fields link

Click to display a screen that allows you to add an additional field to the default Company Profile, as well as view, edit, and hide the additional fields that have already been added to the Company Profile screen.

C Contract Additional Fields link Click to display a screen that allows you to add an additional field to the default Contract Profile, as well as view, edit, and hide the additional fields that have already been added to the Contract Profile screen.
D Project Additional Fields link Click to display a screen that allows you to add an additional field to the default Project Profile, as well as view, edit, and hide the additional fields that have already been added to the Project Profile screen.

Company Dynamic Form records

Click to display a screen that allows you to view, edit and hide fields in a Company Dynamic Form.

Contract Dynamic Form records

Click to display a screen that allows you to view, edit and hide fields in a Contract Dynamic Form.

Project Dynamic Form records

Click to display a screen that allows you to view, edit and hide fields in a Project Dynamic Form.

New Company Dynamic Form button

Click to create a new dynamic form to capture additional company information.

New Contract Dynamic Form button

Click to create a new dynamic form to capture additional contract information.

New Project Dynamic Form button

Click to create a new dynamic form to capture additional project information.

Search option

If you want to quickly locate a dynamic form, type the first few letters of the form name in the Search field and click the icon. To clear the filter, click on the icon.

Sort option

To change the sort order of the information in the Dynamic Form Name or the Dynamic Form Description column, simply click (toggle) on the column heading.

Note: There are only two columns of information available in the Dynamic Form Admin Browse screen.

Reorder and Resize Columns options

  • To resize a column, mouse over the right or left border of the header until the resize icon appears. Then, click on the border and drag it until the column is the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column header and then drag it to the left or right, and drop it in the desired location. If you are successfully moving a column of data, the icon displays during the move.
