Editing an Additional Field

An additional field that an Administrator has added to the default Contract, Company, or Project Profile screen can be edited by changing its name, editing the Quick Tip that displays when the user "mouses over" the field, and making the field optional/required. For the special field lists, Administrators can update the Person Filter (Person Field), edit the Parent Field (Linked Combo Field or Linked Multi-select Field), or alter the Default Value (Hyperlink Field). Administrators can also add more fields to the Additional Fields section of the profile, and change the layout of the section by adding/removing headings (Information Panels) and re-positioning the fields.

An additional field that has been added to a Contract, Company, and Project Profile by an Administrator cannot be deleted, but the field can be hidden so it is not visible to users.

In the example below, a Contract Additional Field is being edited, but the same steps apply in editing a Company Additional Field and a Project Additional Field.
