Adding a Clause Type List Item

Clause Type is a second way to categorize a clause (e.g., preferred language, substitute language), which works in conjunction with the clause category (e.g., Acceleration, Non-compete, Omnibus). Administrators are responsible for adding the clause types that are available when a user adds a clause to their Clause Library, as well as the clause categories and the security levels that can be assigned to individual clauses.

At least one Clause Category must be created before a Clause Type can be added.
