Editing a Person Function

Administrators can edit a person function by changing its name, its position in the hierarchy, or adding another sub-function.   

 You can also disable and delete a person function.

1.  Click Admin in the Navigation Toolbar, and click the Lists links.

2.  In the List Administration screen, type people into the Search field, and press the ENTER key on your keyboard.

3. In the Fields List section, click People Functions to display the existing functions in the right side of the screen.

4.  Edit a function or sub-function by locating the list record whose name or description you want to edit.  Double-click in the Name or Description field to activate it, and type over the existing text.

  • To display a sub-function, click the icon for the function.

5.  Move a function or sub-function by clicking on the list record to select it, and then dragging-and-dropping it upwards or downwards. If you are successfully moving a list item, the Icon Node.png prompt displays during the move.

  • To move a function to the bottom of the list, click on the function record, and drag-and-drop it onto the top-level Icon Folder Open.png folder in the hierarchy. 
    • Use this procedure to reorder functions. 
  • To move a sub-function to the bottom of its function list, click the icon for the function to display the sub-functions.  Click on the sub-function record to select it, and drag-and-drop it onto the folder for the function.  Use this procedure to reorder sub-functions.
  • To make a sub-function a function, click the icon for the function to display the sub-functions.  Click on the sub-function record to select it, and drag-and-drop it onto the top-level Icon Folder Open.png folder in the hierarchy.  The sub-function displays as a function at the bottom of the list.
6.  Click Save.
