Reviewing User Type Permissions

When adding users to Novatus Contracts, Administrators assign one of the following three user types to individual users in their User Profile: Full, Read Only, or Contract Request Only.

The features that a user can access, as well as the tasks that the user can perform (i.e., adding, Editing, and deleting information) depend on their user type. Access to features and tasks also depends on the role(s) assigned to each user, as well as the permissions within each role to access the various Company, Contract, and Project groups, as well as any dynamic (additional) forms that have been added by Administrators.

The table below summarizes the tasks and features available to each of the three user types.

User Profile

The User Profile screen displays the information captured for each individual user. You can also edit a user's information, enable/disable a user, and copy the information from an existing user to add a new user from the User Profile screen.
