Users are those individuals who are able to view and/or manage the information captured and stored in Novatus. The Users feature allows those with the User Admin permission to create User Profiles, which store basic information for each user, as well as the functions they can perform and the roles they play in Novatus.
User functions are needed for several tasks, such as assigning a responsibility for a contract, and identifying those who can approve a workflow step, a flow step, and a contract request. User roles determine the program features that the user can access, and the amount and type of data they can view and modify. Therefore, prior to adding users to Novatus, an Administrator with the Role Admin permission must add all the appropriate user functions and roles.
