E Signature Setup and Configuration

  Mix is actively supported, although it is no longer available for purchase. 

  1. General Setup
    1. Edit page layouts (add the below fields for those with e-signature access).  
      1. Merge Template layout: (add esign provider field if not on the page)
      2. Merge History layout: add E-Sign info in detail section and to Merge Target related list
    2. Edit Profiles
      1. For the profiles that do not need access to E-Sign functionality, remove the “OrchMM. View and Edit Authentication” and “Edit Org Default Partner Credentials” custom permissions for each profile.  
      2. Setup->Manage Users->Profiles->Click the name of the profile->Enabled Custom Permissions related list->Edit->Remove the setting->Click Save.
      3. This needs to be done because the installation of the package will enable it for all selected profiles. Ignore if all profiles should have access or enable for any profiles that should have access to manage this.
  2. E-Sign Provider Setup
    1. DocuSign
      1. Navigate to the Mix Settings and Integration Credentials tab in Salesforce
      2. Select the Integration Credentials tab
      3. Change the selection to Organization Default Credentials
      4. Select DocuSign Credentials from the left side navigation
      5. Enter DocuSign administrator credentials
        1. If the credentials are for the test environment make sure to the check the “Use Demo Environment” checkbox
        2. If users should be sending envelopes out in their own name, check the “Send On Behalf Of” checkbox
      6. Click Save
    2. Signix
      1. Navigate to the Mix Settings and Integration Credentials tab in Salesforce
      2. Select the Integration Credentials tab
      3. Change the selection to Organization Default Credentials
      4. Select Signix Credentials from the left side navigation
      5. Enter Signix credentials as provided by Signix.  If the credentials are for the test environment make sure to the check the “Signix: UseTest” checkbox.​​​​​​​
      6. Click Save
  3. Schedule status update and file download batch job
    1. Navigate to the Mix Settings and Integration Credentials tab in Salesforce
    2. Select the Mix Settings tab
    3. Click the “Schedule E-Sign Batch Job” button at the bottom of the page​​​​​​​
