The Payments feature uses a payment stream to track both outgoing payments made by your company in accordance with the terms of a contract, and incoming payments, or monies your company receives for providing goods or services. A payment stream consists of individual payment records that capture information for a payment, such as the invoice number, date, and due date, and the payment date. A payment forecast can be generated for each payment stream, showing projected revenue, which can be useful in planning a budget.
