Documents Link

This page applies to: Conga Contracts (formerly Novatus)

The Documents link in a Company Profile is used to display a Documents browse screen, which stores the documents associated with the company, such as a certificate of insurance and financial statements. The link is appended by a number, indicating the number of documents stored in the profile.

To access the Documents browse screen, open a Company Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.



Documents link

Click to display the Documents browse screen.


Document records

Review the documents that have been uploaded to the Company Profile.


Revision Number

Identify the number of times the document has been revised.

  • To review or download earlier versions of the document, click on the document record to display the Document Profile screen, and scroll down to the Revisions section of the screen.


Download icon

Click   to view or download a copy of a document.


Search option 

  • Click Icon SearchList.png to display a list of searchable fields, and then click in the check box to the left of the fields you want to search.
  • Enter a beginning keyword or value in the Search field, and click.
  • Click Icon Search Clear.png to clear the filter.


Previous Company  Documents tab Click to review a list of all the documents that were uploaded to the Company Profile when the company was recorded under a different name in Conga Contracts (formerly Novatus).


Company Contract Documents tab Click to view a list of the documents uploaded to the Contract Profiles linked to the Company Profile.


Column display 

To customize the information in a browse screen, hover over a column heading until the  icon displays, and click on it to open the Sort/Column menu.  Click Columns to display a list of available fields, and select the fields you want displayed by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.


Sort option  To sort the information in a column in ascending or descending order, click (toggle) on the column heading.


Reorder and Resize Columns

  • To resize a column, hover over the right or left border of the column heading until the resize  icon appears. Then, click and drag the border to the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column heading and drag it to the left or right, dropping it in the desired location. When the  icon displays, you are successfully moving the column.


New Document button

Click to display a screen that allows you to add a new company document.


Multi-Print button

Click to select multiple documents for printing.
