The Event Alert Templates feature is used to standardize the email messages (event alerts) that are sent from Conga Contracts (formerly Novatus), notifying all interested parties of upcoming contract and company events, such as contract expiration dates and company insurance certificate renewals. An event alert template provides the standard message that is used in the body of the email message, as well as the subject line for the message. An event alert template can also define the message sent in the reminder email messages, which are automatically sent if no action is taken for the event by a specific date.
A user must have the List Admin permission to create and manage event alert templates. A user who creates an event or adds an event alert for a contract's original expiration date using an event alert template only has to supply the relevant date(s) and the recipient list for the upcoming event.
