Rescheduling a Past Due Task

You can reschedule a task that has been assigned to you or a task that you created and assigned to another user if it has passed its due date. 

A task can be rescheduled from the Upcoming Tasks portlet in your Dashboard or from the Tasks screen in a Contract, Company, or Project Profile, which is accessed by logging in to the program, or by clicking the Go To Task link in a task email notification and then logging in to the program.

Upcoming Tasks Portlet

1.  Locate the task you want to reschedule by scrolling through the list or sorting the tasks.

A past due task is displayed in red text.

2.  Click a task record to link to the CompanyContract, or Project Profile containing the task.

3.  In the Links section of the Profile, ensure the Tasks link is selected.

4.  In the Tasks screen, locate the task you want to reschedule, and click in its Due Date field.

5.  Enter a new date by typing over the existing date, or clicking to use the calendar to select the new date.

6.  Verify the text changes from red to black, verifying the task is no longer past due.

Email Notification

1.  Click the Go To Task link in the email notification for the task you want to reschedule, and then log in to the program.

2.  In the Company, Contract, or Project Profile, ensure the Tasks link is selected in the Links section of the screen.

3.  In the Tasks screen, locate the task you want to reschedule, and click in its Due Date field.

A past due task is displayed in red text.

4.  Enter a new date by typing over the existing date, or clicking to use the calendar to select the new date.

5.  Verify the text changes from red to black, verifying the task is no longer past due.

Tasks Screen

1.  Open the Company, Contract, or Project Profile containing the task you want to reschedule.

2.  In the Links section of the Profile, click the Tasks link.

3.  Follow Steps 3-6 in Email Notification above.
