Signing a Document Electronically in Conga Contracts - Embedded

Conga Contracts customers who use the embedded version of DocuSign or Adobe Sign provide eSignatures in Conga Contracts once a contract document has been submitted for electronic signature.  A program user who is designated as a signatory on a contract receives an email message with a link to Conga Contracts, while an external party or company contact without Conga Contracts credentials receives an email message with a link to the Conga Contracts Portal.

Signing a Document Electronically in the Conga Contracts Program

1.  Click the link in the email message requesting your eSignature to display the Conga Contracts Login screen.

2.  After logging in, ensure you are in the Submitted view of the Document Package.

3.  Locate your name, and click the icon for your Signer record. 

4.  In the eSignature Portal, click START to jump to the location where your signature, or other input, is required in the document.

  In providing your eSignature and other information, there is additional functionality available for DocuSign and Adobe Sign.

5.  Follow the onscreen prompts to provide the requested information.

6.  Complete the electronic signing process by clicking:

  • FINISH in DocuSign.
  • Click to Sign in Adobe Sign.

Signing a Document Electronically in the Conga Contracts Portal

1.  Click the link in the email message requesting your eSignature to display the Conga Contracts Portal.

2.  After logging in, you will be directed to the Completed tab in the Document Packages screen.

3.  Click Sign Now to display the eSignature Portal.

4.  Click Start to jump to the location where your signature, or other input, is required in the document.

  In providing your eSignature and other information, there is additional functionality available for DocuSign and Adobe Sign.

5.  Follow the onscreen prompts to provide the requested information.

6.  Complete the electronic signing process by clicking:

  • FINISH in DocuSign.
  • Click to Sign in Adobe Sign.

   When the document signing is complete, all members of the eSignature package receive an email message, notifying them that the electronic signing ceremony is complete.  The email contains a link that takes the member to the Document Packages screen once they login to Conga Contracts (users) or the  Portal (external participants). The email also contains a PDF attachment of the fully executed contract document, which can be viewed online or downloaded.
