History Link

This page applies to: Conga Contracts

The History link in the Contract Profile is used to display the History browse screen, which records all of the updates that have been made to the Profile. The browse screen has two additional views: Work Log History and True-Up History.  The Work Log browse screen displays all the activities users have performed in the Contract Profile and the True-Up History screen records the date/time of each true-up session, along with the program fields that have been updated in accordance with the final contract stored in the Contract Profile. The History link is appended by a number, indicating the number of history records stored in the Profile.

To access the History browse screen, open a Contract Profile, and scroll down to the Links section of the screen.

Review the changes that have been made to the Contract Profile. 

   A change has been made to a field if the Original Value column is populated. The new value for the field is displayed in the corresponding Updated Value column.

Column display 

To customize the information in a browse screen, hover over a column heading until the  icon displays, and click on it to open the Sort/Column menu.  Click Columns to display a list of available fields, and select the fields you want displayed by clicking in the check box to the left of the field.

Sort option  To sort the information in a column in ascending or descending order, click (toggle) on the column heading.

Reorder and Resize Columns

  • To resize a column, hover over the right or left border of the column heading until the resize  icon appears. Then, click and drag the border to the desired width.
  • To move a column to a different location in the browse screen, click on the column heading and drag it to the left or right, dropping it in the desired location. When the  icon displays, you are successfully moving the column.

Work Log Activity records

Review the activities that users have performed in the Contract Profile.

C Work Log Activity links Click on any workflow, document, task, or document package link to be directed to the appropriate screen if you need additional information.

The default view is all Work Log History records, but you can refine the view by clicking on a selected item to remove it from the list:

  • Viewed record - all users who have viewed the Contract Profile.
  • Created record - all events, additional forms, and workflows that users add to the profile, as well as the messages they send from the profile.
  • Edited record - all fields that users update in the Contract Profile, along with the edits they make to documents and additional forms, as well as events and workflows (editing, completing, closing).
  • Downloaded record - all documents that users download to the profile.
  • Completed workflow - all workflows that users complete from the profile.
  • Started Workflow Step - all workflow steps that users initiate from the profile.
  • Completed Workflow Step - all workflows steps that users complete from the profile.
  • Completed Tasks - all tasks that users complete from the profile Document Package.
  • Signatures Complete - all document packages that were submitted for electronic signature Document Package.
  • Signed - all document packages that users complete (close).

True-Up session 

Identify a session, which consists of a Completed True-Up session record, followed by a Started True-Up session record further down in the list, and all the field update records that fall in between.

C Original Value field Identify the original value for a field, which was stored in the Contract (or Company) Profile screen or an additional form.
D Updated Value field Identify the updated value for a field, which was automatically changed in the Contract (or Company) Profile screen or additional form during the true-up process.
