Creating a Co-Display Report
The Co-Display option allows you to link multiple reports together from a single Master Report. This can include:
- Co-display: One or more reports are displayed on the same report. The co-displayed report or chart can be located at the top or bottom of the Master Report, or to the right of the Master Report.
- Tabbed Reports: One or more reports are added to a Master Report using tabs.
The benefit of these options is that you can show multiple reports within a single Master Report that have unrelated data sets but are of common interest to users.
In the example below, we will create a Master Report entitled Active Companies, which shows active companies by category. We will then create a child report called Active Contracts, which shows active contracts by contract type. Then, we will reopen the Mater Report (Active Companies) and co-display only the chart from the child report (Active Contracts) in the Master Report.
