A Conga Contracts program user has a login name and password and is able to view, capture, and/or manage program information. The Users feature allows those with the User Admin permission to create User Profiles, which store basic information for each user, as well as the functions they can perform and the roles they play in Conga Contracts.
User functions are needed for several tasks, such as assigning a responsibility for a contract and identifying those who can approve a flow step, a workflow step, and a contract request. User roles determine the program modules that a user can access and/or administer, the data they can access, and their level of access to a secure data group. Therefore, prior to adding users, a Role Admin must add all the appropriate user functions and roles.
A User Admin can perform the following tasks:
- Locate a user
- Identify User Type Permissions
- Add a user
- Add a user with the Copy Feature
- Grant a user an additional role (permission)
- Edit a user's information
- Review a user's history
- Disable and re-enable users
- Replace a user
- Archive a user
- Generate a User Report
- Generate a User Login History Report
- Reset user passwords
