Create Buttons for Salesforce CPQ for use with Conga Contracts

Before you can use Conga Contracts with Salesforce CPQ, the View Redlines, Send for Negotiation button and True-UpTM component must be created.

To create a View Redlines Button:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Setup > Objects and Fields > Object Manager.
  2. Click Quote (SBQQ__Quote__c).
  3. Click Buttons, Links, and Actions.
  4. Click New Custom Button or Link.
  5. Enter the following information:
    Label: View Redlines
    Display Type: Detail Page Button
    Behavior: Display in existing window without sidebar or header
    Button or Link URL: {!URLFOR( $Action.Contract.APXT_Redlining__View_Redlines, null, [altId= SBQQ__Quote__c.Id], false)}

To create a Send for Negotiation Button:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Setup > Objects and Fields > Object Manager.
  2. Click Quote (SBQQ__Quote__c).
  3. Click Buttons, Links, and Actions.
  4. Click New Custom Button or Link.
  5. Enter the following information:
    Label: Send for Negotiation
    Display Type: Detail Page Button
    Behavior: Display in window
    Button or Link URL: {!URLFOR($Action.Contract.APXT_Redlining__Send_for_Negotiation, null, [altId= SBQQ__Quote__c.Id], false)}

To create True-UpTM Lightning Component:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Setup > Objects and Fields > Object Manager.
  2. Click Quote (SBQQ__Quote__c.)
  3. Click Buttons, Links, and Actions.
  4. Click New Action.
  5. Enter the following information:
    Action Type: Lightning Component
    Lightning Component: APXT_Redlining:CardStack
    Height: 500px
    Standard Label Type: None
    Label: True-Up

To add Buttons and Action to the Quote Form:

  1. In Salesforce Classic navigate to a Quote.
  2. Click Edit Layout.
  3. In the Quote Layout box, click Salesforce 1 & Lightning Actions.
  4. Drag the Send for NegotiationView Redlines, and True-Up buttons to the Salesforce1 and Lightning Experience Actions section of the page layout.
  5. Click Save.
