Conga Mail Merge supports Word templates only.

After creating your Mail Merge Word template, you may store your template in any of three locations:
- The Salesforce template repository
- The Conga Template Manager
- Your local hard drive or network drive
We recommend you store your templates in the Conga Template Manager to make it easily accessible from the Mail Merge wizard. Text-based Merge Fields work with Traditional Merge Fields. They DO NOT work in Mass Mail Merge.
