Automate a Solution with Conga Conductor

The steps involved in configuring Conga Conductor are listed below.

The first step in setting up a Conga Conductor solution is to determine how you want to launch Conga Conductor.

Choose how to launch Conga Conductor (via the Conductor record or a Salesforce list view).

Launching via a Conga Conductor Record

  1. Determine which records to include in your batch by building a Salesforce report or SOQL query.

  2. Create a Conga Conductor record.

  3. Convert a Conga Composer button or link to a Salesforce formula field using the Conga Formula Builder.

  4. Test your Conga Conductor solution to ensure everything is working properly.

  5. Launch the Conga Conductor solution from the Conga Conductor record.

  6. Optionally, schedule the Conga Conductor solution to run automatically at a designated and recurring date and time.

Launching via a Salesforce List View Button

  1. Create a Conga Conductor record.

  2. Convert a Conga Composer button or link to a Salesforce formula field using the Conga Formula Builder.

  3. Create a List View button.

  4. Delete the Conga Conductor record.

Because you’re launching Conga Conductor from a List View button, you only needed the Conga Conductor record to access the Conga Formula Builder.

  5. Test your Conga Conductor solution to ensure everything is working properly.

  6. Launch the Conga Conductor solution from the List View button.
